Visited Warrnambool after watching the movie 'Oddball' Excellent place and both islands Merri and middle look spectacular. Happy the population of the Penguins are growing and the islands are a sanctuary for them. Crystal clear water surrounding the islands. Also watched the tides changing which is terrific. Had so much fun and was very enjoyable being able to see the dogs sitting up on top of the island guarding the penguins that arrive every night. There are so many cafes and amenities in that area and it has a close proximity to the “Lady Bay” hotel. Definitely will be visiting Middle Island another time when we come back down to...
