A great park that is primarily used as a soccer field in the winter season. The park also caters for cricket players with a cricket pitch in the centre of the park, and cricket nets off to the side. There is also football goal posts in place all year round as well as a playground at one end of the park for the kids with benches to sit on at spots around the outside perimeter of the park. Although the park lacks lighting at night for sports players wishing to use the park during the week for training, change rooms and a functioning drinking fountain are present. The park also has a small car park on one side and off-street parking at another. Bins and doggy bags are all around the outside of the oval making it perfect to take your dog for a walk on the luscious green grass. Except for the lack of night time lighting, this is a great park all round.

EDIT: October 2014. This park has now been updated with night...

Large open grassed playground for almost all games including footy, soccer, cricket, etc. Flood Lights for night games provided. Playpen/sandpit for toddlers as well with seating benches and picnic tables. A couple of rounds around this beautiful tree lined oval, running or walking, on any morning can certainly give you an invigorating start for the day. Ideal shady spots available to finish off with your stretches routine. Free convenient parking bays spread around the oval. In the evenings, try your tastebuds to a selection of Thai Cuisine. This food trailer van pulls into the parking bays west of the oval almost...

I like how it becomes a place for more activities and the oval is always maintained. The recent renovation for the meeting place is a good move after 20 odd years. All this time I always thought it was just a toilet. One thing to be improved is the oval has been used for soccer training and more cars park on the grass verge, it soon may become unmanageable. Otherwise during the day it's always a pleasant...
