Bulli Beach — Attraction in Wollongong City Council

Bulli Beach is one of those places that instantly makes you feel like you’re on holiday, even if you’ve only driven an hour from Sydney. Bulli Beach is a hidden gem just north of Wollongong.

The sand is soft and golden, and the water is crystal clear—perfect for a swim or just relaxing by the shore. I especially loved the ocean pool at the southern end, which was calm and great for a peaceful dip.

The beachside café (temporarily closed) serves delicious food and coffee with a view that’s hard to beat. There’s a shaded picnic area, a fun playground for the kids, and plenty of free parking, which made the whole day super easy and enjoyable.

Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the vibe was peaceful without feeling too remote. Whether you're after a swim, a surf, or just a chill day out, Bulli Beach has it all....

One of many great beach spots in the Gong area ! But Bulli Beach has a fabulous rock pool as well as the great beach area. Couple of food choices nearby but the beach is the draw card and an easy way to spend a few relaxing hours, reading, swimming & enjoying the views ! Luckily we get down to Bulli Beach a couple of times a year when visiting friends on the south coast and have not had a bad day yet. Lots of space for all surfers & swimmers and a good stretch to jog to the next headland & back. A great beach that caters for all activities like surfing, swimming and general beach activities. There is plenty of room on the beach so finding a piece of sand to set up on won't be an issue. Toilet and shower facilities which are clean and well maintained. Unfortunately parking is a bit tight so on a good weather day or during summer you may have to park a bit further away and walk if you don't get there early enough. On a public holiday its...
