We went there today to walk through the museum. It was an excellent display of the history of the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great place to take children, to show them what it was like, and what had to be done in order to survive. You should definitely visit, you won't be disappointed. You enter the museum from the visitor information centre.

We popped in to visit the museum. The staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂 the museum was interesting and very well laid out, with buttons to press for recorded information. You walk through several large sheds depicting different stages of the reagons' growth and pioneering families, also information on the indigenous peoples.

Be sure to visit when in the area. The two ladies there on the day were super friendly and helpful with advice. We took advantage of the free bike hire and definitely recommend it!
