Tullner Aubad — Attraction in Gemeinde Tulln an der Donau

This lake is a great swimming spot in summer. It’s 25 minutes by train from Vienna and 30 minutes by car. The lake is about 700m long and 200m wide. There is a family section with a sandy beach and slides and fountains that kids love. There are also beach volleyball courts and basketball hoops and a soccer pitch. The far end of the lake sees more older couples enjoying this serene part. Multiple docks allow east entry and exit though some parts are clear of sawgrass and you can just walk in. The water gets up to 25C in summer. They offer passes for the entire summer and we paid about €35 for the entire summer ! Plenty of free parking at the west and south entrances. A snack bar offers food, drinks and ice cream. Showers and WCs in multiple locations.

Just outside the park is the Danube river with its Euro Velo 6 long distance route. So cyclists riding by can stop here for a swim !

Very beautiful place and clean with so so green land and perfect lake, and the lake contains a little of water games like slipping and big water baloon for childern. The place is not near to city center and railway station but the city its small so if you like walking you can reach within around 35 minuts from city center. You can do cycling, yoga, running, hiking, camping........ and also has a canteen with wooden seats at front offering food and drinking but not huge menu but its good and fear and the price fear as will and the people who are working in canteen they are very kind with me that time but they can't speek english or very less I recommend this place specially in summer and we had engoyable time with friends in that day

Das Tullner Aubad ist super - gleich mal vorweg - wir waren begeistert von der Anlage. Einen Kritikpunkte gibt es und einen Vorschläge zur Lösung, aber vorerst das Positive. Große Liegewiesen rund um den See bieten Platz für viele. Wenn natürlich Alle so nah wie möglich bei den WC Anlagen und dem kleinen Restaurant sein wollen, soll uns das nur recht sein. Der Verleih von Tretboot und SUP bieten in einer vergnüglichen Stunde leistbare Abwechslung. Wir haben den Kindern beim Tischtennis zugesehen und die zwei Wasserrutschen bieten Kindern offensichtlich enormen Spaß. Bei der Kassa kann man Badeutensilien kaufen und wir haben nur sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal erlebt. Tolles Bad kann ich jedem empfehlen. Auch den Rauchern. allerdings und hier ist mein Kritikpunkt und der Grund warum ich einen Punkt abziehe, da ich hier sehr wohl die Verwaltung des Bades gefragt ist. Wo man hinsieht befinden sich in der Wiese Zigarettenreste, selbst in der Nähe des großen Kinderspielplatzes. Also was muss man eigentlich für ein ............ sein, wenn man seine Zigarettenreste gedankenlos oder vielleicht sogar bewusst einfach in die Liegewiese wirft? Wir finden das müsste die Bäderverwaltung unterbinden. Mein Vorschlag: Im Bad von Gars am Kamp haben die dafür eine super Lösung. Sie bieten beim Eingang jedem Besucher die Möglichkeit eines kostenlosen Aschenbechers mit der Bitte diesen beim Verlassen gereinigt zurückzugeben. In Gars funktioniert das und vielleicht...
