Laserer alpin Klettersteig — Attraction in Gosau

The most terrifying yet exhilarating experience of my life!! We climbed the famous “Sky Ladder” via ferrata on Donnerkogel—often referred to as the “Stairway to Heaven.” Thanks to our coach, the world famous Walter Lasere @lasereralpin. He did an extensive training the day prior to our actual hike and climb to get us ready for the real adventure. Walter was patient and kind, gave us great tips and technique to follow throughout the entire hike as well as the climb.

This was my first hike ever and we finished it in record time in spite of being an amateur. My goal was to face my fears head on. “Fear trembled. I climbed. Somewhere between earth and sky, I found myself braver.” Sometimes the scariest steps lead to the strongest versions of us. Thank you so much Walter for helping me uncover this version of myself. Walter is an excellent guide and definitely use his service for once in a lifetime experience.
