South Beach — Attraction in Berry Islands

Spent most of my time at south beach. The water smelled bad. There is sandbar but in order to get there, you have to step on all the seaweed and slimy sand 🤮. The have cabanas there and you will think if people pay for the cabanas that the beach are will be better. We did not get a cabana (thankful for that). During this time of the year, the water a bit cold. They advertise the self serve Coca Cola in the island. Unfortunately at south beach, you have to go to the bar. They do not have the Coca Cola machines next to the snack bar. They do have water and ice. This means the guest that pay for the soda or drink packages have to go to two separate places to get food and drinks. On the soda package, very water down sod. Therefore, it is not worth it . You can easy drink water and you will save the cost of the soda.as per the drinks at south beach, there are some good and bad drinks. The castaway , water down guava juice. The watermelon margarita was good as you can taste the tequila. The Bloody Mary, a bit indifferent about it. Overall, we personally had a better experience in the Disney...

Royal Caribbean's private island is next level amazeballs... South beach, I love it. Beautiful white sand beach with a swim up ocean bar. Plenty of lounge chairs/umbrellas, and beach food/snacks just a few steps away. Renta floating cabana, beach cabana or simply relax in one of many loungers... just go! Beautifully clear water on a gorgeous beach. Can get a little crowded in some areas, but there are other beaches available if you want to compare (all within walking or shuttle distance). Perfect day at Cococay is only available for those cruising with Royal Caribbean as it is their own island.
