I always enjoy going to Nassau on a cruise. The lighthouse at the port is breathtaking when coming in on a ship. The water is crystal clear. It is always neat to shop downtown or take an excursion to the Atlantis Hotel! The Bahamian people are always nice. You never know what cruise ship you might dock next to! It is beautiful viewing the Atlantis hotel from the top deck of the ship!

This is the place where the big cruise sheep come in and anchor. When disembarking, the centre of Nassau is a around 5 to 19 minutes walk depending how quickly you walk.

Nice clean port. And feel safe there. People are friendly. The shops are really small in the port area.
