Interesting note for animal lovers who are concerned about the stingrays. During our stay, one of the aquatics, Chris, told us they let the rays go from their enclosure during the recent Cat 4 hurricane to swim out to sea. Within days of the storm all 70 or so stingrays had voluntarily returned. They do not remove their barbs, they are simply trimmed for safety. Read moreAbsolutely a fun and fantastic activity. You start with a cast member explaining what we'll be doing and safety info too. Then you go and feed the stingrays:) it was more fun then we even had expected. Also, while you're standing there feeding them they swim between your legs, again VERY cool. Then you swim with them for about 45 minutes or so. You get a vest and snorkel equipment and just have a blast. Well priced and well worth...

However, I decided to check at the shack anyway, and they had cancellations, so my eight-year-old son and I were able to do this. What an amazing experience! Not only were we able to feed the stingrays--which feels awesome on your hand--but we were able to snorkel with them and even pet them. It was one of the best experiences of our lives. We will definitely do this every time we visit...
