Koromjol is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the Sundarbans, the world's largest mangrove forest. Located near Mongla port, it's an ideal starting point for those who want a taste of the forest’s magic without venturing too deep into the wilderness.

The area is well-maintained and managed by the forest department, and it offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Sundarbans in a safe, accessible environment. There’s a wildlife breeding center and a small zoo where you can see deer, crocodiles, monkeys, and various species of birds. The highlight for me was the wooden walkway through the dense mangrove trees — it felt like walking through a real-life nature documentary.

What I appreciated most was the peaceful atmosphere, the natural sounds of birds and wind rustling through the trees, and the gentle scent of saltwater in the air. It’s perfect for nature lovers, photographers, or families looking for an educational and exciting day trip.

Local guides are knowledgeable and friendly, and the entry fee is very affordable. If you're visiting Bagerhat or Mongla, don’t miss Koromjol — it offers a small but stunning glimpse of the Sundarbans' raw beauty.

Highly...

Highly recommended!

A wonderful long elevated boardwalk trail that goes through the forest and to a watch tower to get an aerial view. This is part of the Karamjal ecological park.
