Read morenice natural beauty,,,, Bangladesh can still feel proud to have such beautiful land of the mangrove forest. The channels crisscrossing the southern part of Bangladesh can be traveled by boat and ship. We reached Khulna by train from Dhaka which was just great. Then took the boat to get to our ship. Our three day long journey in the Sundarbans was just wonderful. It was quiet, calm and so tranquil. At night, we slept on the ship. Day and night, our cruise traveled through the channels and we got down at places to enjoy the flora and fauna of mother nature. Even those who were scared to walk in the forest could relax on the deck of the ship and enjoyed the tranquility of the forest. One needs to take comfortable shoes for walking in the forest. Winter is the best season to visit the place as the sea could get rough and parts of Sundarbans get submerged in water and no one can travel during those times of the year. To see the animals, one need to get up early in the morning when they come our for grazing. Taking a Binocular is a great help as the animals run away (Deer) with slightest noise of human beings. One can see from far and also from the deck of the ship. The best place is Kotka. We went to Heron Point but there is nothing to see. The places we visited were Kotka, Heron Point, Harbariya, Dublar Char, Karamjal etc. It was a...
