We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at The Park Cafe. On our first visit, Kyle was our server and provided outstanding service - he was friendly, professional, and created a great atmosphere. Combined with beautifully presented and delicious food, it made for a memorable meal. The outdoor seating was peaceful and scenic, adding to the charm. We enjoyed the plantain chips, blueberry pancakes, chicken and waffles, quesadillas, and beef samosas - all highly recommended.
Our positive first experience prompted us to return before the end of our trip. Unfortunately, the second visit didn’t live up to the first. Kyle wasn’t working, and the service we received from the young male and female staff on duty was disappointing. We weren’t greeted upon arrival, no one smiled, and we had to ask for our dirty table to be cleaned when it was obviously not cleaned. Service was noticeably slow. After placing our order, we were told there was no chicken, then later no vegetarian option, and finally settled on the beef samosas - without any apology for the inconvenience. Unlike our first visit, our food was not served together, and it took nearly an hour for everything to arrive. The staff that day seemed disengaged, inattentive, rude and didn't check in and avoided eye contact. We had to call out to get their attention multiple times. My Husband added on the reservation that we were celebrating my birthday and nothing special was offered, however the tables near us were brought out a cake slice with sparklers and sang to.
Despite the poor service on our second visit, the food remained consistent, and Kyle is truly a valuable asset to the team. I would of rated the service a 5 star rating for our first visit and a 1 star for our second visit, hence why I've gone for 3 star rating. Our disappointing service...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after several visits to The Park, I feel compelled to share my experience. While the location is undeniably beautiful, the service has consistently been slow — and today, it crossed the line into outright poor.
Upon entering, no one greeted me. I waited until a waiter made eye contact, but instead of welcoming me, he simply raised an eyebrow. I mentioned my reservation, and he pointed vaguely to a table in the center without any further interaction. It took about 10 minutes before someone silently placed a menu on the table — still no greeting. I began to wonder if the staff were even trained to speak to customers.
Another 10 minutes passed before the waiter returned to take my order. By that time, I had already decided to eat quickly and leave, even though I had originally planned to relax and enjoy a few drinks. The staff's demeanor was unwelcoming and made it difficult to feel comfortable spending time or money there.
The food arrived relatively quickly, but I was surprised to find out that the Sunday platter was $90 — something that was never communicated and not listed clearly. The bacon and potatoes were served lukewarm, and overall I’d rate the food a 3 out of 5.
In short, The Park has potential, but the service consistently falls short. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests in proper staff training. As it stands, it's hard to...
Read moreI hate leaving these sorts of reviews so let's start with the positives. The ambiance is lovely. From the little lake/ pond on the side,to the inside which was very well decorated. The mango lemonade is probably my new favorite drink busting with flavor...... And that's about it for the good. I arrived with my gf and we stood up for about 5 minutes with 5 members of staff being behind the counter and walking pass us. No one greeted us! I'm 6'3 and a half I'm not easily missed! After finally someone decided to take us on, we were seated. The waitress to this minute did not address my gf. We got a starter of shrimp and samosas (veg)....... The shrimp was just okay and the Samoas had zero flavor!. Our mains were the spicy chicken sandwich which was very dry and had no flavor. I had an omelet which I could see had in bacon and sweet peppers cause I ordered it that was yet it had no flavor. There was one waiter /server ( I hope I got your position correct) with locks that was the only one who really spoke to us and made sure we were okay, props to you buddy I couldn't see your name tag but thanks. Pricing wasn't bad..... Doesn't look accessible for wheelchair users who want to sit on the inside. Honestly after looking forward to going for the entire week, this was a major let down. Not sure I'd be back to be honest. Do better! Customer service...
