My daughter and I are such Roller Coaster addicts and naturally we were drawn to the Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon roller coaster which seemed super adventurous, scary, and fun, especially when Universal Studios Singapore is the only Universal Studios amusement park to have a Battlestar Galactica roller coaster. This is a unique dueling roller coaster, with the Human side that is a normal seated roller coaster which actually has a higher speed acceleration as compared to the Cyclon or the Alien side, which is a inverted roller coaster. The Cylon coaster is designed like the Cylon Raider (fans of the franchise will understand, we didn't) suspended from the track with legs free that performs intense manoeuvres that includes five inversions, a cobra roll, a corkscrew, a vertical loop and a zero-g roll. The Cylon coaster also plunges into a 16 ft deep pit filled with artificial fog to give thrill seekers the sensation of a near miss with the ground. It also includes sudden turns close to buildings emphasising the sensation of a near miss. As me and my daughter checked in with the safety belts, we heard the robotic voice stating “This has all happened before. This will all happen again.” And then it hits us, the shouting and the near miss feeling of this roller coaster was superb and is highly recommended. This suspended coaster is capable of reaching speeds up to 82.1 km/h and has 5 inverted parts. One of the tallest dueling roller coasters of the world, we highly recommend this for anyone who is a fan of the franchise or simplye loves unique roller coasters like us. From 'lie to fly' to 'fly to lie', you'll experience two full 360 degree inversions in split second gaps and we had very little time to reach. Having tried the coasters at the Ferrari World, Warner Bros in Dubai, Disneyworld in Paris, the Battlestar Galactica Cylon has remained our favourite till date

Visited universal Singapore on Saturday and as expected the crowd was huge. Luckily we had already taken express pass. Which helped us to get into all the rides without waiting. Few of the rides doesn’t have express option in which we have to wait in the same line. The ride which we loved the most is the transformer ride. Which is the must try. We couldn’t cover all the meet and greet as this takes place in various locations and it’s difficult to cover all of them.

This is a MUST if you enter USS ! Definitely for teens / adults who love adventure & challenge. There are 2 rides, HUMAN (red) and CYLON (blue). Between these 2 rises, CYLON is more fun & challenging at the same time. The difference between these 2 rides is that in CYLON, you are hanged and it is faster with 360 degree move that will make you scream. It is so much fun. I’ve ride CYLON 3 times, & I still wish to ride it again in the near future.

Rode the human and it took us around 45mins to queue (no express pass). The queue is on the stairs to the top and was air-conditioned. The ride is the less scary than the Cylon since it has no loops and the train is not floorless. At first it was very scary but during the ride, it's not so scary anymore. I enjoyed the twists and turns and the airtime. I suggest those who are scared to try the Mummy first and try this before the Cylon.

This is a brilliant roller coaster. I love the way they have the two types intertwined. Both sides offer an amazing ride, but the Human side is the more thrilling of the two. This is a ride where you need the express pass. I noticed that as so many people had express passes, the main queue was not moving very fast. I got to do both sides twice, as my daughter did not want to do it and you can do each ride once on an express pass.

This place has 2 roller coasters, "Human" and "Cylon". Human is the one with steep drops and very high speed. It is like a car cabin. Cylon looks scarier compare to Human but it has less steep drops than Human and is not as fast as Human, even though for someone new to roller coasters it's very fast. Cylon has 360 turns which make it special and it doesn't have any base to put your foot, just keep hanging in there.

Description
This update of the late-1970s programme takes a decidedly darker tone as what's left of humankind struggles for survival against the robot Cylons, who have killed millions. The Galactica, led by William Adama, protects a patched-together fleet of civilians - led by de facto president Laura Roslin - in search of a mythical planet called Earth.
