Stadspark Aalst — Attraction in Aalst

Lovely, well maintained park with lots of spots for activities or a picnic. There are plenty of corners to disappear, and lots of space to run.

The park also boasts quite a diverse range of play areas for kids and families, and clearly quite some consideration has been made for this. Dig through the park and you'll see a toddler's playground, a skatepark, a hedge maze, and more. Lovely to see!

If you're picnicking in quieter areas, such as around the reflecting pool, expect ducks, ravens, and crows to come and wait for free food. They shouldn't be fed (especially not bread), but they certainly do try!

Sadly the park suffers from a large amount of litter, and as much as the staff are regularly busy taking care of it, it's such a shame people come to the park and use it like a dumping ground. There are certainly more than...

Perfect place to spend when the weather is fine - park is big, with small lake with ducks, and fish, there's playgrounds : one for toddlers, and the other one for bigger kids, there's also cafe just few steps from it where you can have coffee / ice-cream / beer. Just beside the park there's sport center with football fields, basketball playground, tennis courts, beach volleyball area. Huge free parking just nearby. Park is very well maintained, clean, with lots of interesting trees...

This park is really nice visit. There is a skatepark, fitness area, soccer field, tennis court and sand volleyball area. There are two kid parks, one for little kids (1-4) and a slightly bigger park for older kids (5-10ish)
