Belvédère de Bouillon — Attraction in Bouillon

Best overlook of picturesque Bouillon with an observation tower. Accessible by car but not directly out of Bouillon on Rue de la Belle Etolie unless with 4x4 as turns into a gravel road with a steep grade and potholes/ruts. We visited this lovely viewpoint overlooking the town on a public holiday. It's possible to drive to, plenty of parking available. Can also walk up from the city. There are quite a few stairs. Belvédère de Bouillon is een adembenemend uitzichtpunt over het charmante stadje Bouillon en zijn groene omgeving dat gratis te bezichtigen is. De toren zelf biedt meerdere platformen op verschillende hoogtes, zodat je stap voor stap van het panorama kunt genieten. Ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers en fotografen!

Er is parking aanwezig, wat handig is als je met de auto komt. Let wel op: de weg ernaartoe is vrij smal, en een tegenligger tegenkomen kan lastig zijn. Ook het wegdek is niet bepaald goed. Rustig rijden en goed uitkijken is de boodschap.

Een belangrijk aandachtspunt: er zijn geen voorzieningen zoals toiletten, drank of eetgelegenheden.

Voor wie hoogtevrees heeft of liever niet de toren beklimt: ook vanaf de begane grond heb je al een schitterend uitzicht over Bouillon. Je hoeft dus zeker niet helemaal naar boven om van het landschap te kunnen genieten.
