A fascinating and family-friendly experience! We visited the Teseum in Tongeren and explored the archaeological site, the impressive treasury, and climbed the tower – and we were truly amazed! The exhibitions are beautifully curated, highly informative, and yet never overwhelming. The archaeological section offers a captivating journey through time, showing the deep Roman roots of Tongeren with interactive elements and clever storytelling that kept even our child engaged from start to finish.
The treasury is equally impressive, showcasing stunning religious artifacts in a respectful and modern display. The climb up the tower was a highlight – the view over the historic town is absolutely worth it. The museum manages to strike a perfect balance between education and entertainment, making it suitable for both adults and kids.
