One can access the western end of this beach on foot via Astwood Walk (next to the gas station lot) and a tall set of stone steps cut into the cliff. Depending on beach erosion and the tide, you may be able to access the entire beach -- or just part of it. At the eastern end, it's been co-opted by the Azura complex, but there is no physical barrier, and there is plenty of beach that is not part of Azura. You can see part of the fort facade in the cliffs and there are also stairwells which are still intact.
