We visited the new music museum in Salvador and while we were impressed by the visually and technologically advanced design of the museum, we faced some issues during our visit. We arrived at 5pm, based on the information that the museum closes at 6pm and we were told by the receptionist that it was possible to see everything in one hour, but we found that some of the features of the museum were not available for us to explore. The top floor and workshop were already closed, even though we had asked about them specifically. Additionally, the café was already closed when we returned at 5:50 pm and it was not possible to buy water. We were also disappointed that the museum didn't fully capitalize on the musical potential of Bahia and Brazil, as this country is so musical and has so much to offer. We recommend that the opening hours be adjusted, and that visitors be given more time to fully explore the museum and its features.
