Beto Carrero World is set in a stunning and lush Mata Atlântica landscape, which is undoubtedly one of its greatest highlights. However, there are several areas that need improvement to enhance the overall experience.
Infrastructure vs. landscape: while the natural landscape is beautiful, the man-made infrastructure doesn't quite match the charm of the surroundings and could use some upgrades. Some attractions and venues' designs look very outdated.
Maps and signage: the current digital maps on the website and app are practically unusable and need a complete overhaul. Providing paper maps and improving the digital versions would be necessary. Additionally, better signage throughout the park is essential for wayfinding.
Playgrounds: there are currently no playgrounds for children, which is surprising for a family-oriented park. Adding outdoor playgrounds is essential, as well as indoor playgrounds in or near the restaurants so parents can enjoy their meals while the kids are entertained.
Wi-Fi and communication: the Wi-Fi service in the park is quite weak and needs significant improvement. Also, it's important to clearly communicate that the attractions close at 6 PM, even though the park itself remains open until 8 PM. This can help manage visitor expectations and experience.
Closing times: adjusting the attraction closing time to 7 PM instead of 6 PM would allow visitors to enjoy the attractions longer before the final show.
Use of natural landscape: the park has a lot of potential to create an educational path of discovery that leverages its natural landscape. Elevated walkways among the trees could offer an adventurous experience for visitors of all ages.
Active attractions: in general there should be more hands-on, active attractions and games (playgrounds, climbing surfaces, fun sports, etc) to help kids and adults release energy and engage in healthy activities.
Food and beverage options: the food offerings are limited and mostly junk food. Adding healthier and more diverse options (cuisine from around the world) would improve the dining experience. Also, there are no cafes, so adding some cozy spots for coffee or hot beverages would be a welcome addition.
By addressing these points, Beto Carrero World could greatly enhance its appeal, compete with other more modern parks around the world and provide a more enjoyable experience for...
Read more2 months ago Beto Carrero asserts his name as "world". There really is a world inside! The space is incredibly giant (I made 23 thousand steps on my visit), there are several attractions, toys and a show with scheduled times. Options for all kinds of tastes, from those who like action, adrenaline to those who like a lighter and quieter schedule. One of the certainties that we have is that everyone will have fun. The entire environment is well signposted and there are signposts along the way. There are lakes, ponds, a zoo with a wide variety of animals and all of this in a kind of crossing circuit. Bridges supported by ropes. There are several pirate-themed attractions, Disney, Hotwheels ... The food options are also many and are scattered throughout the park; from kiosks, to soda / water machines to a restaurant. There is also an ice cream parlor. During the period that I was there, it was happening at Oktoberfest and I had beer and wine options, all washed down with live German music and playing on the sound system. In every park there are signs with information on its construction and details of the culture.
Right at the entrance there is a helipad where you can hire exits with a panoramic view of the park. There are also luxury cars for you to rent and run 13km. Cars like Ferrari, Mustang ... Among others. If you need to leave the park the tolerance is only 20 minutes. If you miss this period you cannot enter again just by buying another ticket.
Penha is close to navigators, which is a beach, so the climate is very mild, even getting hot. It is cold only in the early morning and late afternoon. The rest is very hot and sunny.
At the park entrance there is a volume guard that you can use to store your belongings. It has golf carts to rent and get to know everything without having to walk so much.
In the center of the park, near the food court there is a memorial dedicated to Beto Carrero - his story is wonderful and worth...
Read moreWe had a fantastic day at the park, I do understand why so people reccomend coming 2 days and not just one. I think it easier to list the good & the bad.
Reccomendations: pack snacks bring hand & umbrella (umbrella to protect from sun) buy tickets in advice-- seriously buy parking in advance half off entry on your birthday go during the week
Good: some interesting attractions and the various world were really cool, especially nerf world don't miss the hot wheels show. Line up an our early trolls show at 8pm ended with fireworks. Great for families
The bad: shows often ran at times where it wasn't possible to see both (example Excalibur started a noon and hot wheels at 130. If your not in line for hot wheels by 1230-- you won't get it. Hence why you need two days for this parque. the pirate island was hugely under developed and is a wasted opportunity. Not sure if they are currently developing it but only one brinquedo and nothing to do. I posted a full video of the tour of the island on my review. there are not even rides. So there are HUGE line ups and wait times. 1.2 hours for the big wheel is a joke. prepay for parking as it's almost double at the door. If your ok to walk, just across the street from the park there are parking lots for 1/5 the price. restaurants were lacking especially after 3pm. Over priced pastel and hot dogs. $25 for small cup of açaí. Bring snacks and water with you!!!
It was a fun day. But I would only come again if I had a discount, during the week and in...
