This is a fanTAStic shopping and dining destination. They didn't win design awards and Best Cruise Port 2017 for nothing! The time and effort absolutely shows. Everything you see makes you feel you're in paradise. Diamonds International, lots of local shops, and bars right on the water, allowing you to soak up the breathtaking views while enjoying a dark n' stormy, or maybe a painkiller, out of the sun. Read moreGreat place for cruise ships and tourists to relax and find Tortolas relaxing side. The shops are filled with souvenirs and nick nacks just waiting to be picked up.
Quite a few shops as well to eat the local cuisine and enjoy the local drinks. Little umbrellas included.
The island is always warm (75-80 deg F)
The local people are always friendly and courteous.

We opted for a private tour in an air conditioned van, for 4 people the cost was 150 for 2 hours. Your driver will take you to all the sights, stop for pictures, give info on the island itself, ect...At the pier itself there is really nothing to do. None of the shops impressed is.
