Read moreThe park has an ‘urban’ part which is family friendly, appropriate for dog walks, and also suitable for friend meet-ups, chilling out and practicing some sport activities like badminton/speedminton, hacky-sack, cycling, etc. There is also a ‘virgin’ part that resembles a forest with only one alley that is paved. The trees and bushes there are quite dense and it’s a good place if one would want to be isolated from the masses.
A year ago, before a renovation of the popular part took place, there used to be a convenient way for buying drinks and some fast food, but now the pavilions are removed. There are several fountains from which one can drink water but it’s best to not rely on those since they’re working only during the warm seasons and are relatively sparsely placed. The plans are for almost all restaurants/bars to be removed in the near future (Maimunarnika, Veseloto Selo, and who knows what else) which is disputable how exactly would be beneficial for the park’s visitors.

The municipality keeps promising that it’ll be working again ‘next year’, but nothing really happens. If this really happens soon, it surely is a good place to spend a few hours...
