U Mall Sihanoukville — Attraction in Khaet Preah Sihanouk

To be really honest, for the size of the mall, it was pretty empty, although it is understandable since it wasn't that long since covid hits. I went there on sunday and it is still pretty empty, there's not too much tenant option there, the foodcourt is open and they offer quite variety of food like Taiwanese noodle soup, Japanese food, there is also like a sandwich shop, couple of boba tea places, KFC and Starbucks. Starbucks was packed though, I feel like people came only for Starbucks. They have good-sized Adidas and Nike store, also Armani exchange. Couple of Korean skincare stores. Supermarket wasn't that big, and not all tenant are accepting cards, whether is debit or credits, but there are some ATM machines available. For the price, well, for Cambodia it is quite pricey, but if you compare to America I'd say it is pretty similar. I went to KFC to try their new menu the golden crunch chicken which is KFC fried chicken with spices and salted egg, it is BOMB!!! The chicken is sooo juicy and flavorful, hot & crispy, fresh from the fryer that I need 5 minutes before I can bite it without burning my mouth, and the garlic/sweet chili sauce they have on the condiment section is terrific!! Absolutely beautiful. Yeah, that's pretty much what I remember from the mall. Oh, wait, they were having blackout for a good hour while I was there and I found it completely ridiculous since I never experienced that in any shopping malls in my country (Indonesia) so yeah, that surprised me a bit. This mall is new to the town. When you enter this mall you will feel like you are shopping in one of the Chinese mall. It is just the vibe or feeling you get from it. There are not much shops in this new mall but you can find a lot of things to enjoy as well inside it. Its bathroom or restrooms is very cleaned as well.
