Yasmine Restaurant — Restaurant in Khaet Preah Sihanouk

After so many amazing choices for food. One afternoon I found myself in desperate need of a decent cheeseburger fries and a milkshake. This came with its own sense of impending doom. Since finding a good cheeseburger has been elusive. Finding a cheeseburger and a milkshake at the same place seemed impossible. Then I stumbled on Yasmin's. When going into these situations. I have to do a balancing act. Between my craving for a cheeseburger with a milkshake versus how much money I want to have when I leave. As I walked up, I was very happy to see that this beach restaurant had soul. And not like a sandy salty surfer type vibe. A nice restaurant that had a good history. As the waitress is walking me through the menu. I noticed the breeze off of the ocean. You know that moment when you're like, out of all the spots. I like the spot a lot. Okay was it a big burger? No. It was a good portioned burger cooked properly and presented with a good bun,fresh veggies and cheese. Was the milkshake large and thick? No. It was a little smaller than you would expect. It was a little lighter than you would expect. But at 90° it was the perfect size and it sat really well. Now. The fries were awesome. I probably could have ordered another plate. I'm giving Yasmin five stars across the board. I've been to a lot of beach restaurants in my life. Yasmine's is one...

We stopped here on a hot walk along the beach (where nothing is open as confirmed by YouTube).

The staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming to the place. We were looking for a nice clean place with some snack style eats and a couple of drinks.

First impressions here, clean! Staff cleaning all the time, nice facilities and the place is comfortable with a view of the ocean and beach.

We ordered the passion margarita (biggest one we have EVER had) and beer (Cambodia of course). Although the prices are a little higher than expected in Cambodia the food is as it is described. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and the beef with blue cheese sandwich (keep in mind these are appetisers)

Both were massive and enough to share between the four of us. We saw a couple of girls order some pizza, pasta and chicken wings and chips and a steak and the sizes were massive too.

Overall wonderful service by the staff; the view is great and it’s the vibrancy of the street and pretty good food by our ranking.

Rude staff and overpriced.

It started the staff aggressively insisting we must put our bags in a private room. I've done this before and had small amounts of money stolen, so I said no and tucked the bags neatly under my table. This created a five minute argument, there reason being 'its just the way it is', seemed odd and completely unnecessary.

I ordered an iced coffee, no milk, no sugar. The coffee came and was loaded with sugar. I told the waitress and she argued that it didn't. After a few others at my table tasted it and agreed it had loads of sugar, she grabbed it and stormed off. She returned a few minutes later, out the coffee down and walked off with nothing said, no apologies or recognition of a small error at all. The second coffee that came out tasted so bad that I couldn't drink it. I wish I'd read other peoples reviews before coming here 🤢

On top of that, it's way overpriced, on the higher end of any restaurants I've been to in Cambodia while travelling and the quality of drink in my case was well below par. Saying that, a girl at my table said her...
