Recently I saw a "feel good" movie at the Amherst Theatre. There have been some updating to paint etc. Seats still need to be upgraded as one in our row had a broken spring. But all improvements take time and money. And that means the threatre must be profitable. I am sure that if Amherst supports their theatre all improvements will happen over time. The theatre was clean and had an old fashion/friendly look. It was a small, youngish audience but they too were polite and not disruptive as I've seen in theatres across Canada.
