Getting to the viewpoint takes a while if youre a beginner like me, but I promise the view is worth it. I went in the late afternoon which was nice because it wasn't too hot. The trails are winding with a lot of rock/wooden steps. Its a good thing because it does help you navigate and get good footing, but make sure you watch your step because you can slip pretty easily. There are quite a few places on the way up that you can stop and rest. No benches or anything like that but there are places to catch your breath. The main trails have signs on them so you dont have to worry about getting lost. And the View. Is. Worth. It. A really rewarding experience! (PS careful on the way down. Loose...

Gorgeous viewpoint of Nelson. Similar to the Grouse Grind. Took about 36min to get to the top. Near the end of the hike, there are two path options: Easy or More Difficult. We went with the Easy trail.

There were a couple of benches there and lots of different spots to chill and look at the scenery. Spent about 30min there before coming down, which took almost as long, but I have bad knees. Parking along the side of the road. Wasn’t crowded when we went on a Monday evening. Would factor about 1.5 hours for the whole hike and chill time up top. Would recommend going for beers after at Backroads...

Moderate hike. If you’re out of shape like me you can still do it but take it slow. It’s an hour even walking slowly up. It’s about 2km up. Bit of loose material and in the fall the pine needles are a bit slippery. Probably worse in wet weather. Trail shoes or hiking boots would have helped. I wore a very tired pair of trainers and it was alright going up. Had a few slides going down but it was ok. Again probably not ok in the wet. Easy to follow trail.

Beautiful view of all of nelson across the water. We were lucky and caught great weather. Well worth...
