History/Vintage/Collectible buffs.. if in Beausejour for a half or full day and you have an interest in the past, this is a a stop worth your time. There are some 20 bldgs and countless pieces of agricultural, firefighting and rural machinery on the grounds. The house that Ed Schreyer (Premier of MB and GovGen of Canada) grew up in, a 1 room school house, former CPR train station, Ukrainian Catholic Church, log house among others are notable for their artifacts and an accurate depiction of our ancestors way of life. The general store's shelves are filled with 100s of products from eras gone by including soaps, medicines, dry goods and more. Each bldg has a detailed account of the history of the bldg and when it was brought to the Museum. Don't miss the vintage firefighting equipment including a beautiful 1900s Chrysler. If you are interested in the past, or nostalgic, a pleasant hr or 2 here will make you smile.

Really nice museum. We discovered it by chance and were finally able to visit it as it only opens a couple of months per year. Sarah, a summer student worker was really helpful answering mamy questions to my kids. And we met James, a volunteer who was a highlight on the visit, telling us many stories and having great interactions with the kids. It was a wonderful weekend visit and we learned a lot in a fun way

Wow. What a difference 4(?) Years make! We attended PVM Heritage Day again, with our Yurkowski Family Farm raw clover honey. Our bee farm is only 20 minutes north of Beausejour. This was a great event for everyone! Once again my son helped out, but this time he's 9.

It was an amazing look into the past, with soooooo much to see. And although it's not listed on google maps anywhere, there is a 5 dollar cash entry fee for anyone over 12years old. It was beautiful to see things from the past beautifully placed. Made a lot of the places look like they were...
