Nice hidden quiet beach. To get to it you’d have to walk down a steep slippery cliff so I wouldn’t recommend bringing your kids. The beach isn’t that big. And the sand is filled with rocks and broken shells. There’s a handmade swing and some bonfire spots. The water is also quite clear. FYI it’s illegal to walk on the tracks BESIDES the only designated crossing. If you walk on the track there is no space around the tracks to jump to if a train comes. Plus standing on the side while a train is passing is very dangerous, you can be pulled in by the force of the passing air.

Very nice waterfront however it isn’t a beach in any aspect. There is no access to the waterfront as it’s private property (you need to cross train tracks). This “beach” is Government property and you are trespassing once past the railroad tracks and it’s patrolled by CN. This good location is incorrect. Confederation Park is beautiful for trails (which include off leash dog options) but there’s no beach access at all.

Beautiful trail, cannot go into the beach, cops, fining people if you cross to it that’s what she said, right if you cross the train rail. But a beautiful hike near is pretty cool.

Nice trail in the shade, nice views. NOTE this should not be labeled as a beach! The only access to beach is over train tracks that have numerous signs posted not to trespass. Very rough terrain to get to beach. Otherwise a great hiking trail especially for 🐕. Poor signage...
