Confederation Park in Burnaby is a hidden gem perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The lush green spaces are well-maintained, offering plenty of room for picnics and leisure activities. The park's playground is a hit with kids, and the mini train ride adds a nostalgic touch that everyone loves. With scenic walking trails, a splash pad, and even a dog park, it has something for everyone. The community center nearby also hosts various events, making this park a vibrant hub for all ages. Highly recommended!

Huge park, I didn't see all of it. Great place for families and kids. Great playground and splash pad in the place. There is a community center and lots of free parking spots. There are a lot of shaded spots for picnic, including picnic tables. There is a tennis court in the place. Highly recommended to visit here.

Busy place with lots of families, kids, dogs on leashes and a kids soccer camp going on. Most people were respectful.

One large group of younger adults with young kids however, had loud music playing which disrupted the point of enjoying nature in peace. They drank the whole time we were there til 3pm for about 4 hours even doing shots, and observed that each family & singles drove individually.

We wondered if the single partiers were under the legal limit for alcohol consumption mid-Saturday afternoon, had designated drivers or other driving arrangements. Don't believe mothers would let a drunk driver get behind the wheel transporting...

This park is very often visited by families for the entire day. You can visit this park for picnic among the trees, you can also take a ride on the model steam railway that operates on the weekends during the summer. On a hot summer day, everyone can cool off and at the outdoor water play area or go swimming at the Eileen Daily Leisure pool and Fitness center. You can either drive to this park where there are a huge parking lot or you can also take transit(buses from holding station or Brentwood town center...
