Aquarius Spa — Attraction in Calgary

What a hidden gem! Seriously folks, go check it out, there's nothing else like it in Calgary. It's great for groups of friends to hang out and relax together. There is a large room with music, massage chairs and a big ol comfy couch to hang out in while you cool down from the spa area. The spa area has a dry sauna, steam sauna and two cedar buckets full of cold water to drench yourselves in after the sauanas. When we were there, we just rotated from the saunas to the chill out area and had such a relaxing time. The whole space is booked for your group so there's total privacy in there. The owner Ilya is so nice as well and has a variety of add on to enhance your experience such as essential oils, eucalyptus branches, plus an assortment of drinks. Family owned and operated Aquarius Spa offers a very welcoming and cozy experience for relaxing, recharging, renewing and healing of your body and mind. We booked a three-hour private slot, and had a fantastic time utilizing both Russian style and Hammam style saunas, as well as the comfortable sitting area with great karaoke equipment. Iliya is an amazingly friendly host, who goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have the best experience ever. The place is top-notch clean, aesthetically pleasant and it is designed in a way that the most privacy is provided for the guests. What a gem!

I brought my mom, mother- and sister-in-laws here for a fun outing on Friday night.

The whole place was reserved for us at a very reasonable price. The facility has 2 change rooms, restrooms, a relaxation room with couches, games, music, a table to eat at, and tea. There’s 2 little saunas - wet and dry, cold bucket for after the sauna and showers. You can purchase sauna hats, branches and oils at the front. We brought in our own snacks, masks and scrubs.

The place was clean and comfortable and was a great way to relax after a long drive into Calgary! The owner Ilya is really helpful and friendly. Our guests had never been to a Banya before and he helped make them feel more comfortable trying a new experience.
