My boyfriend and I live by this location and visit frequently. Today we decided to place an order as we typically would on a Tuesday for the $3 fish and $3 fries. We typically call in and then pay in store but this time we had to place the order online and it did not give the option to pay in store. Turns out that the discount for the fish and chips was not applied even though the ad on the website says “$3 fish $3 chips order online.” I called to ask about this and the person who picked up seemed to have no idea what they were talking about. I even explained that the site ad says that you can order the offer online and pick it up in store but because we are forced to pay on the site, we don’t qualify for the offer? The ad should be worded differently then to reflect that it doesn’t apply to online orders- the pic I included shows the ad displayed. At worst, you could at least be polite over the phone and not just say “sorry bye” and ignore the person/cut them off when they are asking a question. At best, a refund for the difference should be in order because ordering online for pickup and ordering over the phone for pickup are no different until the ad is updated. Overall a mid plate and portion for $17.

Stumbled upon this place when I looking for a different restaurant to try. It was a Tuesday which was their fish and chips special day. $3 fish, $3 fries. Upon entering you can tell the branding was deliberate with their “street” theme. From the menu to the walls. I ordered the gochujang style crispy chicken poutine and my buddy had the fish and chips. We also ordered the 88 Brewing beer on tap. It was nice to see they had some top notch local beer. The poutine was definitely an interesting take. It was pretty good. No complaints there. I’d want to try their other stuff on my next visit. When I think k it about, I would have love to have had this on rice. It would be amazing on rice. And much healthier! My buddy had the fish and chips and he said it was excellent. It wasn’t over battered and the fish was soft inside. Fries cooked perfectly! I ended up ordering more to take home for the family. The owner is a really friendly lady who was very appreciative of us coming by to try their food. It was nice to see how excited and passionate she was about the business and if she keeps the food quality high like this, she should do well!

Absolute rip off. $20 poutine and it's half full! So the response is if you pay more for sweet potatoes fries you get half the amount? Maybe let the customers know so they don't spend more for half the amount! It also didn't come with sour cream. Total rip off. Also it's the first time eating at your location in about 6 months because the portions even with regular fries has continued to get smaller. I'll pass next time and buy my poutine from a business that values quality service. A shame as I once recommended Streatz to all my friends. Update. I decided to try this place again as they were once so good. Order what was once my favorite Buffalo Chicken poutine. I basically got fries soaked in hot sauce. Must be new owner since they first opened. Absolutely gross. I'll never make the mistake of eating here again.

I’ve been here twice now and tried several different menu items so I think I can give a fair, unbiased review.

While the food quality is quite good, there’s very little value for the price. Everything is expensive and overpriced for the amount of food you get. Don’t expect to be full unless you’re paying $20+. The shrimp bowl for $17 comes with 4 shrimp; and it’s an extra $4 to get 3 more. The smash burger is so small compared with the picture that you could actually consider it false advertising. They dice up their cheese curds for the poutine so you get these small, unsatisfying pieces and you really feel like you’re eating fries and gravy rather than a poutine. The fish is very good, but even with their “fish Tuesday” special pricing it’s still expensive, and they are very stingy on the tartar sauce. They give you 1 for every 2 pieces of fish which is barely adequate. If you ask for more they will charge you; all of their dips and sauces are $1 each, a huge pet peeve of mine.

So overall, the food is good and is worth trying once, but you are definitely not getting the most bang for your buck and are likely going to be hungry afterwards. I really wanted to make this place a new regular spot because we eat out for lunch every day during the week, but for the prices they are charging I could either go to a proper sit down restaurant or I could eat like a king at a normal...
