We had the pleasure of having Corinna from Personal Thyme come to our home, for a second time, this past holiday season to prepare a meal for our small group right before Christmas, and it was an absolute culinary delight! From the first moment of contact to the final bite, Corinna exceeded all expectations.

The menu was carefully curated, showcasing a perfect blend of seasonal flavors and culinary expertise. Each dish was a masterpiece, leaving our taste buds dancing with joy. The attention to detail in presentation was exceptional, and it was evident that Corinna poured passion into every aspect of the meal.

The brie and cranberry stuffed jalapeno appetizers were a tantalizing introduction, setting the stage for the gastronomic journey that awaited us. The main course was nothing short of spectacular – the best french onion soup the group has ever tasted, succulent meats, perfectly cooked vegetables, and a symphony of flavors that left us craving more.

We had planned our surprise wedding months in advance with Corinna. The day was set, Christmas Eve! She met with us and really listened to what we wanted. She immediately understood what we were wanting as our wedding consisted of only 7 people in total and that we really wanted an intimate affair. She was excellent at filling in the gaps of our menu with creative and delicious suggestions. We spoke often and very candidly about what our expectations were and what her expectations were. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for a Personal Chef to travel to a location unfamiliar to them and be thrown into appliances that can act completely differently to her last customer's.

She pulled it all off!

She was 15 feet from the ceremony and we really didn't even know she was there at all. Great aromas filled the rooms as she went back and forth from the kitchen to the back of the garage to check on the Prime Rib.

Corinna plated excellent appetizers for us while working on the mains. We had set everything up in a manner that allowed us to serve in chafing dishes so that the guests could wander over and fill their plates as they wished.

She even nailed her exit! We wanted to have a nice family only sit down Dinner and she was all cleaned up and finished, packed up and ready to go just as everything was placed in chafers.

Corinna was excellent in every way and of course the most important thing of all, The Food, was Dynamite. We even ate it as leftovers for Christmas dinner the next day!

If you are seeking a top notch chef, with excellent customer service skills and amazing cooking, then look no further! Corinna arrived on time, and set up so quietly we didn't realize she was there until she would magically materialize with the next amazing plate full of appetizers, or the next course in our four-course dinner. All of the food was five-star quality. We were absolutely full to the brim by time dessert was done, and my kitchen was as clean as a whistle when she was finished using it. This was a family gathering of eight people, some with dietary restrictions. Corinna adjusted some of the servings for those with the dietary concerns, and the entire event went off without a snag. Everyone enjoyed the food, and it was the best Christmas present I could ever give (especially to myself!!!). I would highly recommend Personal Thyme/Corinna for any catered function, and if I ever host an event like this again, I will definitely be calling Personal Thyme. Why try someone else when you have experienced the absolute BEST! Thank you, Corinna, for making my family Christmas dinner a relaxed event for me, and a most enjoyable culinary experience for everyone...
