Oceanview Lookout — Attraction in Cavendish

Incredible look off point!! Looks off the coast towards the Atlantic Ocean! You can see a beach for swimming, a nice long boardwalk, multiple outposts to look out with info things to read. Picnic tables, plenty of grass areas. Also there is a beautiful bike path that rides along the ocean. Totally worth the ride/drive. It is near several food places and a couple of tourist shops. Also an info center is just around the corner. Plenty of parking....

High red cliffs with an ocean lookoff. Excellent photo stop. Turn in at the Orby Head sign. This is a small sign so watch for it. Easy free parking close to cliffs. Be sure to follow the full length of the path to get different views of the cliffs and water. There are no facilities here such as washrooms. Be careful when near the cliffs and don't climb over the fence to get a better view. The lookout is worth the stop and will probably take 15...

This has been newly redone after being damaged by the hurricane in 2022. It is wonderful! Gorgeous views from the lookout, nice picnic area with a grassy field and it looked like people were having fun on the rocks near the ocean. Best of all the wheelchair accessibility is excellent, lots of accessible parking on both sides of the lot, nice smooth sidewalks and lookout. I will...
