There were 4 of us; two couples (one form NS, one from NB). We have met annually in PEI (excluding COVID years of 2022, and 2021) to renew our friendship, play cards, and catch up on our lives. Accommodations in the past have varied from a large private home, to rustic cabins. This trip was excellent, and in no small part due to great premises, and really nice owners. We felt very much at home here. It was relaxing, and comfortable. The owners took a personal interest in us, and ensured we lacked for nothing. Visiting our favourite spots was easy as the location is central to all attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Loved the two bedrooms, two bathrooms setup. Eat-in kitchen was fully stocked, and has a full sized fridge and stove. Really good dishwasher. Price was reasonable. But the owners were the best part! We couldn't have asked for better or more. In truth this was our BEST rentals from all of our years there. We'll definitely book here again (and again!).|PS: I don't have any photos to share; however, I do confirm that the pics shown on their web page are true to what...
Read moreWe stayed for a week in early August 2019. The layout of the cottage was fantastic, two large rooms with a bathroom for each room. The main room with kitchen is huge for a PEI cottage. From the porch you can see the ocean above the shoreline trees. The owner truly cares about his property and it shows. The cottage and grounds were in excellent condition. It's an easy walk to Cavendish Beach and the trails associated with that area. The cottages are set back from the Parkway by about 100 yards but the end of the driveway leads right onto the National Park Beach that is terrific for a nice walk. If you know you are going early enough get online to the National Park website and get an early bird annual PEI National Parks pass for about $40. Well worth the investment as many beaches and hiking trails in the area have Parks parking that requires a pass or a daily fee pass. The WiFi was reasonably good for a PEI cottage and the cottage had all of the amenities and materials required to have a...
Read moreHaving made several visits to the Island over the last 15 years - this is the first time that we have stayed here after finding it on a random drive through the National Park. We made sure to book it for this year's visit. We were absolutely not disappointed. ||||Monty made sure that we were comfortable, settled, and even checked up on us in the early early morning following a city-wise power outage! He really is the perfect host and wants to make sure that you enjoy your visit on the Island! ||||The cottages are well-stocked, comfortable, spacious, and you really want for nothing. It is very obvious that there is significant pride of ownership as the gardens and property are well-maintained and picture perfect. ||||There is a lovely secluded beach within walking distance, as well as, a much bigger sand beach within a eight-minute drive, still within the National Park. ||||If you are looking for an idyllic and comfortable location to relax and enjoy nature - this is...
