I visited mid November. It is free to visit and you can walk right up to the lighthouse but the walk is quite wet and muddy at this time of the year. Fortunately, I had rain boots in the car and was able to walk right up to the lighthouse and also into the water. You would be rewarded with the beautiful views and the calming waterfront. Take note that the lighthouse is locked so you cannot go inside it
