We visited the battery for the Canada Day fireworks which didn't go off but it's a great viewing position for the waterfront in Charlottetown.

The Prince Edward Battery consists of a stone magazine and a brace of guns located on the south side of historic Victoria Park in Charlottetown. A high profile landmark, the site overlooks the mouth of the Charlottetown Harbour and is located next to a...

Small Victorian coastal defence battery restored to how would have looked back in the day. Surrounded by parkland and a coastal boardwalk with views across the bay to Charlottetown. Government House is nearby with well maintained gardens to look at on your walk to the battery.

Great place in Victoria park right next to the boardwalk! Excellent stop off point while I along the boardwalk. I reccomend going to Peakes Quay afterward. It's about a 20min walk away and you pass by several historical buildings on George Street on the way.
