Great place in Victoria park right next to the boardwalk! Excellent stop off point while I along the boardwalk. I reccomend going to Peakes Quay afterward. It's about a 20min walk away and you pass by several historical buildings on George Street on the way.

After seeing the beautiful reviews and renewal of this site I just had to visit, Unfortunately it seems to have been forgotten about by the local government. Hills seem to be eroding, the cannons are in disrepair/not mounted and the information plaques could use a reprint. I don't regret going but it was a shame it's not being maintained how the site deserves.

Great place to watch gun salutes. Amazing views of the many cruise liners coming and going into the Charlottetown harbor. A great free parking area to start a walk along the Victoria park boardwalk, or into Charlottetown downtown area.

Nice little hidden gem with lots of history. We had the whole park to ourselves and it was a wonderful place to have a picnic and stretch our legs. The area is very quiet and the fort offers great views of Charlottetown and the harbor.

Lovely large park with so many attractions. First being the wonderful boardwalk along the water. There's a pool, an ice cream shop and so much green space. Then you get the history with cannons on site.

Historic battery placement set up in 1805; the entry is open and free. There's a small hill with stairs to get up, several cannons, memorials, and plaques. There is a small fence around the hill.
