This place was really busy. The lines went out the doors during summer. But the wait is totally worth it.

Love their ice cream here ! One of the best ice cream I've had. Their ice cream is rich and cream. The fruit flavour ones here are sweet but not an overdose on sugar.

My favourite flavours are the pei strawberry and pei blueberry and the birthday cake. They pei strawberry and blueberry are absolutely delicious. The birthday cake is on the sweeter side as it has blue syrup inside the ice cream but still really good.

I've also tried the wowie cowie and pistachios. The wowie cowie I didn't like it too much. This one was really sweet and something just felt off. As for the pistachio, i was ok but I've tried better. The sea salt caramel was also pretty good. It's was sweet yet salty which gave it an unique flavour to it.

You can order the ice creams on cones, in cups, as milkshakes or in a tub to go. They have tubs of ice cream you can buy. They allow you to mix multiple flavours in one tub. This is a good chance to try multiple flavours.

Additionally, they have a lot to cow merchandises. They have cow plushies, cow cups, cow clothing, and etc. They also sell their cow branded cheese.

This place is a really big tourist attraction so they have a mini self tour of the ice cream factory to entertain tourists. You can see behind the scenes of how they make ice cream and cheese if you follow the self tour.

Overall, if you're visiting PEI, this place is a...

We visited Cows mid afternoon in late June 2022. It was a weekday. They were not all that crowded, which was nice. We took the self guided tour. Honestly, I didn't like it all that much. The movie was OK. But the tour was basically a T shirt factory working behind a window. The ice cream section that you could barely see through the fogged up window. And a cheese storage room behind a window. Not all that great. Had it been a guided tour that actually told you something interesting about Cows manufacturing, it probably would have been better. Sorry, that was my disappointment. The gift shops was nice. They have a nice array of gifts to show your Cows pride. And the main reason to come here. The ice cream. Cows is definitely on the expensive side. But it is good quality ice cream. So although we spend a good amount of money. The enjoyment factor out weighed the cost factor. Although some inside seating would probably be nice on a hot or rainy day to sit and enjoy your treat. It was a nice visit and treat. Obviously I feel it's worth your time. Well maybe not the tour. But the rest is. You can even visit the very large cow outside. She's good about taking...

Possibly my favourite COWS location after having visited the other locations in Halifax, Charlottetown, Cavendish, Banff, and Niagara-on-the-Lake. While I think the quality of their ice cream remains consistent throughout all of their locations, this location is unique for housing their production facility and a small behind-the-scenes tour area for a look inside the history of the COWS franchise. Most notably, you are able to order custom t-shirts here, with any of the COWS designs printed on them. These t-shirts take just about 20 minutes to be printed on the spot.

Inside, the retail shop is filled with COWS merch, from clothing (hats, shirts, pajamas, socks, etc.) to plushes, mugs, and more. Sometimes they will have sales on some of the products which I would recommend looking out for. Outside at this location is also a big cow statue that you can take a picture with. Overall a very fun ice cream store to visit!

Recommended flavours: Wowie Cowie and Messie Bessie for a taste of their signature Moo Crunch Caramel Moocchiato for coffee lovers PEI Blueberry and Peach Melba for...

It’s a very busy spot. Tour used to be guided and much longer but now you can do a shorter version independently. The moment you walk in you are in their busy souvenir shop. The tour is through a door to the right. You can get tshirts with older motives printed. Choose from many motives, size and Color and tshirt will be ready in 15min. You can get a full view of how the tshirts are made and sign with explanations in more detailed form. There is a big cow with cows background for pictures and then you can walk along a hallway where you can see staff working making cheese. Lots of explanations on the walls about how and the history. At the end of the hallway you see lots of big cheeses sitting in shelves. The shop itself is big. While cows is usually known for ice cream and then cheese, over the years they developed a brand with their tshirts and funny names. Ie game of cones, instead of game of thrones, or cow bays instead of blue jays. Quiet catchy. Of course you can also by ice cream there. Big variety and it’s sooo good. Washrooms are also available
