Discover Churchill Tours exceeded all my dreams and hopes for this trip. Churchill is absolutely stunning! The surrounding bays, subarctic tundra, river, and coastline offer an abundance of wildlife and breathtaking views. Their guides were a joy to spend time with over the five days, and their expertise in both guiding and photography was truly impressive! A big thank you to Dave S., Jimmy, and Dave A. for an unforgettable week and for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime! They all provided educational insights about the bears, their behaviors, other wildlife, and town historic landmarks all while giving the group unique perspectives for capturing incredible photos.

The zodiac tours were jaw-dropping, following the coast to watch bears while surrounded by beluga whales. Hearing the whales’ calls through the hydrophone was a special treat! Throughout the week, we saw dozens of polar bears—each moment unique, from moms with cubs to bears along the beach and feeding on a washed-up whale. Birdwatching opportunities were plentiful, and we even spotted two red foxes and a black bear during our adventure in the boreal forest on the town's outskirts. Touring around the old science and rocket launch facilities and learning about the community's history was fascinating.

Churchill was incredibly vibrant with all the beautiful murals painted around town—another delightful surprise that added to the experience!

The food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. Plus, the night excursion to see the aurora was unforgettable! The small group size of 10 gave everyone plenty of viewing room in the trucks and boats so we never felt crowded. I also loved being able to climb up on their truck roof platform for an even more amazing view!

Owners Alex and Drew were so very helpful answering all our questions when booking the tour and made sure we were prepared with a great packing list.

Alex and Drew were fabulous hosts from the time we arrived in Churchill until we were deposited at the airport for our return home. This was truly an all inclusive - we paid our money in advance and were taken care of every step of the way. We had the opportunity to see the Aurora Borealis in all its splendour - our reason for going- and this was even more spectacular than we had imagined. As Alex and Drew are professional photographers, we were happy to let them take all the photos for us - resulting in fabulous pictures. We stayed in a hotel with a full kitchenette. We brought all our own food for the entire trip, which was good, as there were no restaurants open at this time of year. Although our main focus was the viewing of the Aurora, Alex and Drew made sure we had a thorough overview of Churchill culture.
