August 22 2024 visit with my grandkids When I step into Brydon Park, it's as if I'm reborn. The tranquil lagoon beckons, its calm waters reflecting the verdant trees and vibrant wildlife that surround it. As I set out on the winding path, a sense of peace washes over me, like taking a deep cleansing breath after being trapped indoors. My great-grandsons eagerly join me, their boundless energy radiating through the air. We stroll leisurely, about a kilometre around the lagoon, pausing to greet the curious birds that flutter nearby. Their chirps and trills seem to welcome us as if recognizing our reverence for this serene oasis. Sometimes the boys can't resist the urge to break into a sprint, their laughter echoing across the water. Read moreThis is the cutest little place for a walk! There’s a trail that run alongside the lagoon and some benches along the way too, so you can also just sit and enjoy the views of the water. There are some ducks and geese at the beginning of the trail that just chill there, they’re super cute. Don’t bother them though, because they do have some babies so you don’t want the mamas to chase you! You can bring some seeds for the ducks to eat, but wouldn’t recommend giving them bread or any human food because it can upset their stomach. Definitely recommend checking out this quiet...

Loved it so much we went back four days in a row and intend to go this weekend as well. There are a lot of people there and that's not the best in Covid...
