Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Surrey

Great spot for lunch/brunch. I've come here after the lunch rush when the place is fairly empty. Place is very clean and the owners are super friendly.

The breakfast wrap was awesome. Packed eggs, hashbrowns, meat and cheese.

The roast beef and harvarti was great as well. The veggies the are in it tasted fresh. Roast beef is bang on with the havarti.

Bibimbap (half chicken and beef). Tender meat, awesome picked veggies and the rice was perfectly cooked. Great item to choose.

Chilli bowl was pretty good too. Fairly rich in tomato flavor and a ton off beef. Will help warm you up when its cold out.

I came to Corner Cafe planning to have breakfast and get some work done. I had my laptop and a few things in hand, so I was looking for a table near a power outlet to plug in my charger. Before I even had a chance to sit down or place my order, a lady who seemed to be the owner/manager told me, “You have to order something if you sit here.”

Of course I was going to order that’s why I came in but the way it was said came across as unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. It really killed the vibe, and I ended up leaving without staying.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and was pleasantly surprised!

Ordered a traditional breakfast, bacon with sunny side up egges and they were perfect! Round edges, not overdone, crispy hash browns with a hint of buttery goodness and the bacon evenly cooked with a slight crisp, and not greasy. People think that a a traditional breakfast is easy to make but this was done with class, and sets a bar on what should be expected.
