Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum is an excellent place to have your kids come and connect with farm animals as well as grab a bite to eat and learn about a little Nova Scotia farming history. The farm is easy to navigate and there are many different activities for kids to engage in as well, such as face painting, etc. Additionally, there are beautiful gardens, flowers and an array of stations, such as a history lesson on being a blacksmith metal worker. Read moreI have been visiting the farm for over a decade. And today our experience was horrible. We brought a group of 16 children and toured the house. Had a wonderful chat with the blacksmith and toured the barn. Walking towards the animals a lady met us and told us to leave. That were were a group over 12 and needed to pre book. This was out 6th year going with this same group or children and never have we ever been so disrespected. Our school age children were just as shocked.
