I came here for the off leash dog park. It is a large fenced area with lots of room to play fetch with your furry best friend. There is a water pump (with bucket) and a garbage can (with bags). If it is raining there is a small covered area with a cement floor so you can stay dry and avoid most of the mud. Your fellow dog owners are generally friendly and it is a good place for conversation. The dogs are pretty good too and I have not yet run into an unfriendly pooch. Well worth a visit while you are in Cumberland!

Cumberland Village Park is great and offers something for everyone. The newest additions of the state park and jump track are fantastic and perfectly suit the mountain bike community. The dog park is also great especially considering it is the only dog park in the Comox Valley. Pet owners that come here seem to be very friendly and well in control of their dogs. The recently upgraded playground is also much appreciated considering the old one was in disrepair and bordering in dangerous.

It's OK, a small community park kind of place, for a change of environment you can visit otherwisenot somethingyou want to go everyday. one thing we experienced twice is the direction of wind, it hits you so bad even in full sun that you can't take full advantage and rush back within five minutes

Very nice big park. Always love coming here after the parade to check out the food and old cars and watch the may pole dance and may Queen ceremony. Both my daughter's have been able to be a part of the dance and they both enjoyed it. So nice to keep some of the old traditions. Let's keep it going for...
