Laneway Coffee and Kitchen — Restaurant in Cumberland

FINALLY!!! Quality specialty coffee in Comox Valley. I moved here from Vancouver nearly three months ago and have tried every coffee shop in the valley with high hopes that i’d find something good, and sadly didn’t… until we went to Laneway this morning! Not only is it the first place in the valley to give me a proper sized Cortado, it was also very good. I also had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious, you can tell they’re using quality foods to make their menu items. The space is very well curated and the staff were all kind.

Would highly recommend Laneway as the only place in the valley to get quality espresso, i’m looking forward to...

had an amazing first time here! beef brisket sandwich was out of this world! definitely ask about the rotating feature sandwiches, my partner had an amazing beef, mole, pineapple and it was to die for. i recommend getting this beautiful lemonade, incredibly refreshing and delicious for this hot summer day. take advantage of the shady patio and take a break from the sun! was also able to have my dog on the patio with us 🥰 it makes a huge difference! shout out to chef Gabe and our amazing servers today! thank you all so much!...

Stopped in yesterday (May 21) for the first time and we ordered the pork sandwich and the chicken one. Both were fantastic. The fresh sub bun, crispy coleslaw and other ingredients made for a refreshing and wondering combination. I love pork or schnitzel on a bun and often make it at home and these guys hit a home run for sure. Staff were very friendly and even on a real busy day in Cumberland, our coffee and sandwiches were ready in a real short time, which we both commented on how quick the service was. Well done.
