I stumbled across this lovely little museum while shopping in downtown Fort Frances. When I entered I made a donation , Sarah, the museum attendant, gave me a thorough explanation of the theme of Indigenous Reconciliation in the art exhibit on the main floor. I was impressed with her level of knowledge about the artist in question. I then took the elevator upstairs and viewed the collection of items there relating to the History of For Frances. It was very well done, with antiques and artifacts from eras like the time of the fur traders and the Hudson Bay company. I could have spent much more time there.
