Peaceful surroundings. Clean lake with soft sand. The facilities are new and well equipped. Free rentals of canoes, kayaks and pedalos for card carrying locals. I try to come here every weekend in the summer. We’ve seen deer, eagles, birds, frogs, lily pads, and dragonflies. Life guards monitor lake, and bbq areas have charcoal pits available. Super family friendly. ❤️❤️❤️

One of the best places for a walk or cycle in Gatineau that's not within Gatineau Park. Plenty of easy trails for mountain biking for those with less experience and plenty of walking space, with the chance of encountering deer as you walk. Unfortunately there can be broken glass here and there, and some patches of poison ivy so be mindful of straying off the trails.

We visited the place twice, two days apart. We loved the trails, both O/T1/T2 with hills fun for kids to tackle, and a long loop on E, which is mostly flat. The rental gear was comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Free activities with city Gatineau Access Card. Prices included in one of my attached pictures. Clean place. Lots of parking. Great indications with maps can be found all over the different sites.

Description
Lac Beauchamp Park in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada is a large wooded park of 172 hectares built around a small lake in the middle of the suburban sprawl of the eastern part of the city. In the winter it has 15 km of ski and snowshoe trails. The lake also has a skating area.
