Photograph - This photograph displays the first unique Lake Simcoe's lakefront cottage on Malone Road which is a stone's throw from Malone's Wharf. This historic abode has a wooden placard which reads as follows: "Jacksons Point." Its lettering is so faded due to the passage of time. Two photographs of varying light intensities could not clarify its legibility.
At some point there was an operative invisible fence in order that there be no trespassers. This methodology is traditionally employed to keep dogs from roaming off one's property by apply a slight electrical charge. It is no longer operational.
This building is extremely wide that minimally three frames would be required to fully include the entirety of this property. Part of the reason is because as one steps backwards there is only a narrow road and behind one's back are tall, humungous assorted trees impeding the ability to have its entirety in one frame.
Unfortunately, this lakefront cottage has fallen into disrepair. Most likely it will never be offered for sale which is sad. Due to the weather conditions especially the harsh wintertime, the searing sunlight combined with climate change a vast amount of money would be required to bring it back to its former glory. Taking into consideration, the building's land value and location, it is irreplaceable. In its current state it is a worthy site to behold. Its surroundings are a priceless treasureā¼ļø

The menacing "Wombat-like" animal is perched above a sleek boathouse with a spine-chilling replica of its moniker. It is adjacent to Malone Wharf and within its sight is Jacksonās Point Harbour. It is maintained to perfection with a well planned entrance. It is believed that the foreboding wombat's purpose is to keep out curious onlookers. It has frequently been wondered what the experience of living in such an abode feels like to its inhabitants, as well as, the...

Jackson Point Harbor truly is a gem when it comes to picturesque views and serene ambiance. It offers a peaceful retreat, allowing visitors to disconnect and immerse themselves in natureās beauty. The harborās surroundings are immaculate, and the waterfront view is a sight to behold, especially during sunrise and sunset.
However, a note for first-time visitors: while the harbor experience itself is delightful, the parking cost leans on the pricier side. Itās always wise to factor this into your visit and perhaps even consider alternative modes of transport or nearby parking options if youāre planning a longer stay.
All in all, Jackson Point Harbor is well worth the visit, but itās essential to be prepared for the parking fees so that it doesnāt overshadow the...

The field and space is decent and felt calm and peaceful even if kids playing around in the water.
My only issue is the cleanliness of the water, you can see geese in the water, seagull feathers and I cant imagine what else is in the water, but this is a lake so what can I expect?... Around this time with covid as well, people are putting the water in their mouths and spitting it back out. I didnt go swimming today, but it changed my mind about coming back if I was to swim or snorkel around.
If you dont mind this kind of water, this is great for families. Otherwise having picnics are just about...
