First off Absolutely RAD Experience! My Girlfriend and I decided to go skydiving with YETI for our anniversary. Leaetta took care of our booking/waiver/payment, she was super friendly and a good conversationalist, she helped us feel welcome and excited to jump.
Aaron took us through the breakdown of the jump, great review for me as this was my second time jumping (first time with YETI), and a solid breakdown of the plan for the day for my Girlfriend's first jump experience. He made sure we focused on remaining calm and having a good time, we felt like we were in good, professional hands.
Huge thanks to Skevo, first off his taste in sock fashion is top tier! Secondly, he made sure our packs were folded up for an effective deployment which kept us safe in their air, we LITERALLY couldn't have done it without you Skevo and your packing skills!
We went tandem meaning I got to jump with Jay on my back, he made sure we got from sky to ground in one piece, super knowledgeable guy, humble and a good sense of humor. We got chatting about his background and what led him to jumping, his path that he took to end up at YETI, all I can say is I am super thankful I got to meet and interact with him.
Denis was taking care of my Girlfriend and you can see the smile on her face in the photos, he is full of joy and has a love in his heart for this sport. Rad to meet another romantic about life and living it to the fullest!
Johnny Took care of getting us from Ground to Sky, its a long climb up to 10k feet and Johnny made sure it was a joy to ascend all the way up there, feels great to be in the cabin with a capable pilot!
The whole squad at YETI has their system on lock, it's a well oiled machine and a tight crew that operates it (at least that's what we got to see, I'm sure some good rambunctious fun happens there).

Read moreThe skydiving instructors and the jump itself were worth 5 stars, BUT there were some other issues that left our group with a bad taste:
My friend called multiple times concerned about her weight - she was reassured that as long as she was under 250, she would be fine. When we got there, however, she was under, but told by the same person that she is "close so it will be up to the instructor." He didn't let her jump, even being under the limit. If we were told that from the start, at least we wouldn't have been so disappointed.
My other friend was overcharged on her debit card, and when she went back the next day to get a refund, she was told that it was a bank error and she should call her bank. So she did call her bank on speaker, and sure enough, it was overcharged. The lady then tries to give her the wrong amount back which takes more arguing. This whole process must have taken 25 minutes - way too long to correct for an error on their part.
My extremely expensive addition of photos and videos was disappointing. I was told there would be 5-7 videos, and I only got 4. When I called to see if maybe they didn't get loaded, the lady didn't even look on the hard drive - just said some instructors don't hit the record button on time. I get that, but then the price should be compensated accordingly.
My other other friend bought the rock star experience, and when we got back home a few days later, her stick was completely empty. We call and aren't really offered an apology, just that they are cheap sticks and they sometimes don't work, but they will send a new one first thing in the morning and provide a tracking number. It has been 4 days, and we still have not heard anything.

Read moreOne star is actually one too many. Here was our experience. We booked weeks in advance, we were driving through Golden so we booked just after noon. We arrive after leaving super early, drive for 5 hours to arrive on time. Only to find out there are a 3 hour wait. Remember we booked a time slot early in the day so we were abit confused on how there could be a 3 hr wait. There was no warning email or phone call ahead of time to inform us of this before we arrived. I know they use text messages as they used that to confirm our reservation. So we wait, 3 hours later we turn up, it's now middle afternoon and we are told there is another delay of 2 hours. So our total wait time will be 5 hours after our reservation time. Again no call or text to warn is of this. When we asked why there was no call to let us know we were told they were short staffed and were fielding other calls. At this time we still had driving to do before we reach our destination. So with crushed dreams, we get our refund and walk to the parking lot. We meet other people there who had the same experience, difference is they call to confirm their time and was told they were still on time but got there and had to wait 4 hours. We were offered a t shirt for our troubles but we would never come back there and have no desire to advertise for this business.
