Bell Park — Attraction in Greater Sudbury

This is the most amazing park here in Sudbury.. trails around the lake for active walkers and joggers... Sitting areas and benches as well as beaches. It has two one supervised and one not .. pretty small but enjoyable. I like to walk there almost every morning when the weather is good. There is a public washroom and a theatre and it is the home for concerts during summer. They also have surfing and canoe events and lots of water sports and activities. You will not be disappointed . Maybe it's just missing a coffee shop or kiosk for snacks or even a vending machine but you can find that at the Science north during the cafeterias working hours it's called elements and closes before the centre does pretty early. The city of Sudbury has really put a lot of effort to make this a pleasant experience. Whether you want to walk the boardwalk all along a few kms beside Lake Ramsay, or just stroll and sit on the many benches along the way, you are surrounded by nature. Flower beds are well kept and there is a public beach with lifeguards along the way. There are many picnic tables and well kept public washrooms also. People go there to walk, stoll, read, draw or paint, eat a picnic or swim. Science North and Imax are at one end of the boardwalk, offering unique experiences. Bell Park is highly recommended place especially for family outings .it is such a tidy, lovely, and spacious park with a beautiful layout. There is a gazebo near the lake which gives an awesome view. There are benches everywhere you need to sit. While strolling, you can see the lake.The boardwalk is usually beautiful which are designed near the lake. The trees ,water,squirrels and ducks gives a feel very close to nature. There are public restrooms, a drinking fountain, and a snack stand.
