Went here today on my bike, it's a beautiful beach, and there is great trails to ride, walk, or run if you like. The area is really clean, and it's a great spot to go for some leisure time. They have marshlands off to the side with ducks or geese swimming around it's nice to take in nature. There is some establishments along the trail that if you like you can stop for food, drinks, or ice cream. I really enjoyed my bike ride down the trails, and the other people on the trails were very friendly. There is also parks too off the trail were you, and your family can sit. I would come here again it's a very nice day out.

Great beach. Lake Ontario ain't the best lake to go swimming in no matter where you're at. That being said, Van Wagner's beach is probably one of the cleanest beach spots in the GTHA. Otherwise go further east towards ajax or further south towards Niagra. Or just any other great lake. Or just drive north to ANY other lake for that matter.. But for the Toronto-Hamilon area. This the best!

Love to spend the weekends here. Has big rocks where one can sit and enjoy. At times the tides get high and it seems hard to swim. Is really nice to walk, bike or rollerblade along the trail

A lovely location, plenty of places to eat, the beach area is very nice, lots of places to sit and relax. It would have given a 5 star but the cyclists speed dangerously fast amongst the people and pets walking, I was almost hit by a cyclist wearing his helmet and Tour De France outfit. There have to be cyclist restrictions for pedestrian safety. The cyclists...
