This is a really cool, and easy, stop off of the highway. There are a few places to eat nearby and some picnic tables that look over the river where you can hang out. Good stop after (or before) going to Covered Bridge for a box full of chips.

Cultural & architectural heritage spots are worth a visit always. So of you happen to be near by take a detour from the hustle bustle and enjoy a traditional towns like Hartland, Bath, Perth and of course Florence-ville Bristol

It's quite underwhelming, but it is in fact a bridge. Still quite interesting if you like bridges and bugs, specifically spiders since there's a ton inside. Though the area just has a ton of bugs naturally.

As what seems to be the normal experience in New Brunswick, the bridge was closed.

There is no warning on the highway until you get to the bridge, which has what are obviously well used, permanent 'temperary' signs saying the bridge is closed.

In the short time we were there, the number of disappointed tourists that showed up, surprised to find such a highly advertised item closed, was incredible.

Big disappointment.

Do not go out of your way to visit and take the chance of...

I live in an area with several covered bridges, so when I saw the sign claiming this was the longest one in the world, I had to see it for myself—and it did not disappoint. The bridge is impressive and well worth a quick visit. On the far side, there are a few convenient stores where you can grab lunch sandwiches or pick up supplies. A great spot to stop and explore for...
