Inverness Beach is at Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. When I visited there, the temperature was around 16 to 17 degree celcius and the following day, the temperature was 27 degree celcius with a heat warning. During my visit, it was high tide. Very windy and strong waves. The water was freezing water. It was so windy that I couldn't do any activities. However, the beach is long and sandy. Nice view with the hills and sea. Free parking. Plenty of parkings. Doesn't have any picnic bench. Has a narrow broadwalk nearby. Washrooms are at the corner of the beach, you have to walk a little. Only three common gender wahrooms which is not enough for the visitors. Only one icecream parlor besides the washroom area, no other food shops. Kid & dog friendly. You must leash your dog while...
Read moreVery pretty view of Inverness beach and the ocean. Boardwalk goes in between the best beach in cape breton, Inverness Beach, and the best golf course in Canada, Cabot Links golf course. There are also many benches to sit on along the boardwalk, so you can sit down and watch rich golfers (green fee is 200$) play some golf. The golf course is beautiful, with finely cut grass and stunning views. Boardwalk ends at the supervised part of the beach, and goes along for about 2 golf holes. It’s a good walk if you don’t want to get your shoes sandy, and you want to watch some golf. There are also good views of...

The water was a little rough when we were there, and someone was smoking weed close to us, which felt like they were smoking it right next to us. It seemed to be fairly busy when we arrived there Saturday, September 6th, but didnt feel like that once we were...
